15-16 june 2017 - 2 day Workshop on Soft Matter research conducted in Toulouse and in Montpellier

This meeting aims at promoting scientific exchanges between the Soft Matter team of the L2C (Laboratoire Charles Coulomb UMR 5221, Montpellier) and researchers from Toulouse.
We invite researchers (PhDs, postdocs, permanents) working in the Soft Matter field from Toulouse and Montpellier to participate in this event.
Colloids, polymers, interfaces, jammed systems, biological matter, biophysics, self-organized and stimuli-responsive systems, dispersed media and hydrodynamics of complex fluids are the main topics of the meeting.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS :
Christophe Mingotaud (IMRCP, Toulouse) - Hybrid nanoparticles for MRI applications
Serge Mora (LMGC, Montpellier)- "Gravity driven instability in horizontal elastic layers"
Martine Meireles (LGC, Toulouse) - Microscale structure and compressive resistance in concentrated packings : examples of microgels and aggregates
Gladys Massiera (L2C, Montpellier) - Biophysical approach of the mucociliairy function : Mucus rheology and beating coordination
