- Postdoc vacancy in Soft Matter Team, L2C, University of Montpellier, France

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate in experimental physics, to work at the Laboratoire Charles Coulomb (L2C), University of Montpellier, France.

OPEN 12 MONTH POST-DOC POSITION ON
“Partially wetted active colloids cleaning the water surface”

We are looking for an experimentalist in the field of colloidal physics having a PhD in Physics or in Physical Chemistry. Background in optics, image analysis and interface science is a strong asset. The project aim is to design and investigate partially wetted active colloids as efficient decontaminating agents of molecular pollutant accumulating at the surface of water. The post-doc will ensure the production of active colloids. He/She will use particle tracking video microscopy to study the dynamics of colloids on the water-gas interface ; and ellipsometry, tensiometry and fluorescent microscopy to access to the surface concentration of contaminants.
The position is open at the Laboratoire Charles Coulomb, University of Montpellier/CNRS in Montpellier (France) starting from January 1st 2017 to April 30th 2017. The fellowships duration is 12 months with a salary of 2000€/month.
